Yogita Limaye

Yogita Limaye is India Correspondent for BBC News. She covers India and South Asia for global and UK outlets of BBC News, producing television, radio and digital reports. She is also an experienced presenter and has anchored shows like India Business Report, Talking Business, India Business Report, 100 Women and Witness.

Yogita has been reporting for the BBC since 2012 from South Asia, and has also done stints in the US, South Korea and the Middle East. She’s interviewed top personalities like Donald Trump, Howard Schultz, Sheikh Hasina, Abdullah Abdullah, Amitabh Bachchan, Sania Mirza and Deepika Padukone. She’s covered a range of global stories including the coronavirus pandemic, conflicts in Syria and Kashmir, the refugee crisis in Greece, the Nepal earthquake, and elections in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
