Udayan Thakker is a Gujarati Poet. His first book of poems was prescribed as a textbook at SNDT University, Mumbai. Two of his books have received the award of ‘Best Poetry Collection of the Year’ by Gujarati State Sahitya Academy and Gujarati Sahitya Parishad. He has received the Maharashtra State Jivan Gaurav Puraskar, and the NCERT national award. His poems have been translated into English & Japanese. He has spoken literary conferences across India. He writes a weekly column on world literature in Gujarat Samachar and has authored about twenty books. He is Editor of poetryindia.com
