Tulsi Jayakumar is Professor of Economics and Executive Director, Centre for Family Business & Entrepreneurship at Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai.

She has academic experience of 31 years. She writes extensively in the media and is a thought leader in her field. In January 2022, one of her cases was declared as Harvard’s Best Selling Case across disciplines. She is a member of several Indian industrial bodies and associations, including FICCI, CII and IMC.
