Salman Rushdie

Salman Rushdie is the author of sixteen works of fiction, including Midnight’s Children and, most recently, Victory City; and of five works of nonfiction, including the autobiographical memoir Joseph Anton. He is the recipient of the Booker Prize, the Best of the Booker, and, this year, of the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade. He is a Distinguished Writer in Residence at New York University.
