R Jagannathan is a journalist with over 47 years’ experience in business and general journalism. He has been a part of many launch teams, including Business Today, DNA and Firstpost.com. He has been Editor of Financial Express, Indian Management and Business World. He started his career with Financial Express as a reporter/sub-editor in 1976 in Mumbai. His recent focus has been on digital commentary and journalism, with Firstpost.com, Moneycontrol.com, business-standard.com and myiris.com. He is currently Editorial Director of Swarajya magazine. He was awarded the Shriram Sanlam Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
