Pravin Sawhney is author of four books: The Defence Makeover: Ten Myths That Shape India’s Image; Operation Parakram: The War Unfinished; Dragon on Our Doorstep: Managing China Through Military Power (co-authored with Ghazala Wahab); and The Last War: How AI Will Shape India’s Final Showdown With China in 2022. He has been the editor and publisher of FORCE newsmagazine since 2003. He was the South Asia correspondent for Jane’s International Defence Review. He was commissioned officer in the Indian Army (artillery) for 14 years after which he took early retirement to pursue journalism
