Political Economy Scholar & Data Analyst, India

Praveen Chakravarty is Chairman of Data Analytics for the Congress party.

Prior to his foray into politics, he was a political economy scholar & a Wall Street professional for two decades. He is a prolific writer on economics, politics and society and has co-authored with the former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, MP Shashi Tharoor and several others. He was one of the architects of the Congress’s NYAY economic proposal in the 2019 elections. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an undergraduate degree from BITS Pilani.
