Nader is a Visiting Professor of Politics at di Tella University in Buenos Aires. He and his family moved to Argentina from India because his wife took up a post as Director of the British Council for the Americas. He was born in Iran, but as a young child moved to Britain which has been his home ever since. As well as being an academic across three continents, he has been a TV journalist, a Justice of the Peace, and elected Mayor in the UK. He is father to three wonderful sons, and in his spare time, he enjoys listening to the BBC World Service, solving The Guardian cryptic crossword, reading Modern European detective fiction, and following the trials and tribulations of Tranmere Rovers Football Club.
