Colm Tóibín

Author, Ireland

Colm Tóibín is the author of ten novels, including Brooklyn and The Magician, and two collections of stories. His play The Testament of Mary was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play. His work has been translated into more than thirty languages. His first volume of poetry Vinegar Hill was published in 2022. He is Irene and Sidney B. Silverman Professor of Humanities at Columbia University.
