Launch of Ian Cardozo’s Cartoos Saab.
During the 1971 Bangladesh War of Liberation a young Indian officer accidentally steps on a land mine and amputates his own limb. The story of his bravery and commitment doesn’t end there: he demands to return to active duty and proves that he is capable of leading a fighting force. The memoir of Major General Ian Cardozo is testimony to the valour, grit and loyalty of the Indian soldier.
Major General Ian Cardozo was commissioned in the 5th Gorkha Rifles (FF) in June 1958 and has fought in the wars of 1962, 1965 and 1971.
