Peace is not simply the absence of conflict; it is an environment which allows individuals and societies to flourish and grow.

Spreading the message of peace is no easy task and to honour those who have made it their life’s work The Peace Avenue of Rotary District 3141 Mumbai and Tata Literature Live! have come together to present the Rotary Writing For Peace Award.

This year’s recipient Sanjoy Hazarika, is a human rights activist, scholar, author, journalist, and filmmaker. He will be in conversation with Kalpana Sharma on the complexities of North East India.
