Noir In Mumbai : Case by Case

  • Saturday, 12th Nov
  • 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm IST
  • St Pauls Institute, Title Waves

Sex sells. And apparently, it does so even more when combined with scandal, murder and mystery. Is that why noir thrillers are such a thriving literary form? But what is it  about this form that appeals to writers? Does Noir come closer to portraying the grittier aspects of life and crime than regular crime fiction?  In collaboration with Noir In Mumbai we interrogate French writers to understand why this style of writing is so popular in Europe and particularly France.
