Language Is A Queer Thing

  • Sunday, 13th Nov
  • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm IST
  • NCPA, Little Theatre

This is a culmination of a poetry exchange between India and the UK exploring the relationship between language and queerness and is part of British Council’s India-UK Together Season of Culture. Led by The Queer Muslim Project and VERVE Poetry Festival, the project brought together six diverse and multicultural poets from India and the UK through residencies in both countries. The objectives of the programme included sharing histories and experiences to create new work that was showcased at BBC Contains Strong Language in Birmingham in September 2022.
