An Introduction to the Facilitator

Hoihnu Hauzel is a seasoned journalist, a food and travel writer and a trouble-shooter. She
has worked with the Asian Age, Indian Express, Hindustan Times, Times of India and The
Telegraph on subjects as varied as art and culture, people, travel and hospitality, education
and human rights. She is a recipient of Reuters Fellowship in International News Writing,
London. She currently runs The NE Stories (, a digital magazine that
carries stories of grit and success of people from Northeast India and Northeast Odyssey
(, a digital platform for hotels/resorts and homestays from the
Northeast. She is certified by Le Cordon Blue, Paris, in Gastronomic Tourism. She is the
author of The Essential Northeast Cookbook (Penguin India).
