BUDDHA’S WIFE

  • Thursday, 26th Oct
  • 10:00 pm - 10:45 pm IST
  • Online

In what promises to be a riveting discussion, an award-winning Sri Lankan-Canadian writer, born half-Tamil and half-Sinhalese and who now follows the tenets of Buddhism, talks about his erudite and thought-provoking novel narrating Siddhartha’s path to becoming the Buddha through the eyes of his wife, Yashodhara. In the process, the novel traces her own journey of awakening. This session also explores how a writer’s road to self-discovery can inspire his fiction.
