America has chosen its president for the next four years. The man in the White House faces many immediate challenges. On the domestic front, for instance, there is social unrest, rising economic inequality, unemployment, and an inadequate healthcare system. On the international front, there is friction with China and Russia, as well as entanglement in the Middle East. There is also the urgent global threat of climate change. This session debates the future of US institutions, its society and relations with the world.
