Behind many Chinese restaurants are families of migrants who left their home in search of something better. They, and the food they prepare, have assimilated into the local culture to varying degrees. A Canadian-Chinese filmmaker travels around the world to explore what it means to be a Chinese restaurateur and what they have lost or retained in their new homes.
